Chanukah In The New England Patriots’ Super Bowl Trophy Room! Historic celebration at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts!

Following the march-on of United States Naval Academy Midshipmen and United States Military Academy Cadets, Mr. Robert Kraft, Owner and CEO of the New England Patriots, philanthropist and entrepreneur, hosted a Chanukah Candle Lighting ceremony.

• As Mr. Kraft described it: “This is the first time, I think, anywhere in the world, where there’s been a Chanukah Candle Lighting in a Super Bowl Trophy Room!”
• Thank you, USNA ’95 alum Dr. Eric Goralnick and Kraft Sports + Entertainment COO, Jim Nolan for helping make this possible.
• According to USNA Rabbi, LCDR Yonina Creditor: “The last time the Army Navy football game was played during Chanukah was 2015, and I don’t know if there was a joint candle lighting ceremony.” As part of the Rabbi’s prayers this evening, she emphasized to the Midshipmen, Cadets and a small audience, ” … We come together as a community of American Jews in uniform … One Team. One Fight.”
